Ryder Cup Wales 2010 Ltd (RCW) was established in 2003 after Wales' successful bid to host The 2010 Ryder Cup.
Our role is to work with key partners including Newport City Council, Newport Unlimited, Sport Wales, Welsh Golfing Union, Welsh Ladies Golf Union and the Visit Wales and International Business Wales arms of the Welsh Assembly Government, to make sure that The 2010 Ryder Cup is even more than a great tournament. We also work closely with The Celtic Manor Resort.
We all understand that it brings massive opportunities to promote Newport, the host city and Wales as a whole; as a sporting venue, a place to visit, a place to invest in and a country for living and working. RCW's remit is to maximise all these opportunities, and release their potential for everyone, while raising the profile of Wales on the world stage.
